physically dismantled and reassembled. Bipasha
Hayat uses the delicate, fleeting nature of black
muslin to echo how human recollection frays,
fades, and breaks apart over time.

The hidden hand inscribed writings buried within
the shadowy folds simulate the subconscious
mind, holding secret thoughts and forgotten
fragments that remain partially obscured from full
view. By layering these torn, written strips into a
heavy, tactile mass, the artwork captures the
fragile weight of time, transforming passing
thoughts and fractured moments into an enduring
tapestry of quiet introspection.
