In Paradise 2, Nur Munjerin Rimjhim uses fine,
dense ink lines to create a dramatic play of light
and shadow, bringing the secluded pond at
Charukala to life. Sunlight filters through the
dense canopy, casting sharp highlights on the
leaves, the circular pond's edge, and the calm
water, while deep, hatched shadows envelop the
surrounding trunks and foliage.

This delicate contrast between soft, dappled
light and dark, textured shade gives the flat
paper incredible physical depth. By capturing
how light pierces through the shadowy retreat,
the artwork transforms a quiet corner of the
campus into a glowing, sacred sanctuary.
